Mayor Johnson says public desire to ramp up taxes on big corporations affirmed by survey results

Mayor Brandon Johnson released a “budget engagement report” that he believes strengthens his hand in the political battle for a pre-election budget with an already emboldened City Council. According to the report, 88% of those surveyed want the city to raise taxes on large corporations.
