Bill Ruehlmann dies; longtime reporter, columnist at The Virginian-Pilot

Bill Ruehlmann joined The Ledger-Star in 1977 as a features writer, writing about everything from his ride on a rodeo bull, to classic crime writers (and detectives), to the Holocaust memorial museum in D.C., to his kids. Later he became a columnist covering books and was a professor at Virginia Wesleyan College.
