Civic Committee’s answer for city’s financial woes - less borrowing, rein in spending, shrink the payroll

Derek Douglas, president of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club, said what he fears most is that Mayor Brandon Johnson will propose "a bunch of proposals that we would consider anti-growth like the head tax. I fear that’s going to come back. I hope it doesn’t."
