Could Charleston and Horry counties get a SC tourism tax?

Known as the tourism development fee, the 1 percent sales tax generates millions for advertising the Grand Strand to out-of-town visitors. SC lawmakers could consider allowing Beaufort, Charleston and Horry counties to adopt a tourism tax.
