U.S. appeals court hears Louisiana abortion pill case

Attorney General Liz Murrill asked an appeals court Wednesday to strike down a federal government policy allowing abortion pills to be mailed over state lines, saying the regulation has snarled enforcement of Louisiana’s anti-abortion laws in a case that could shape access to the procedure nationwide.
