Polish President Makes U-Turn, Signs Windfall-Tax Bill Into Law

Poland’s President Karol Nawrocki signed a bill introducing a windfall tax on fuel companies including Orlen SA, reversing his previous opposition to the measure and clearing a path for the government to finance relief for drivers and contain pressure on public finances.
