Brandon Johnson's disapproval at 53%

A new poll commissioned by the Mansueto Institute and conducted by NORC finds 53% of Chicagoans disapprove of Mayor Brandon Johnson, and only a quarter of his 2023 voters pick him first. Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias leads the early field as candidates begin filing petitions Monday.
