FEMA awards $1.1 million to Izard County for 2025 storms, plus $539,000 to Arkansas for 2024 flooding

Arkansas and Izard County will receive a total of $1.6 million in federal funding for repairs to a bridge and to fund mitigation planning following severe weather events in 2025 and 2024, a news release from the Federal Emergency Management Agency said Thursday.
