'Eastern Washington solutions for Eastern Washington problems': Ferguson backs sales tax rebate, energy flexibility for those rebuilding from Spokane fires

OLYMPIA – Gov. Bob Ferguson said Monday he supports a sales and use tax rebate for those rebuilding after the Spokane Complex fires and other declared disasters, and he would push the Washington State Building Code Council to allow homes to be rebuilt to previous energy code standards.
